A better future
In addition, making a social contribution plays an important role and therefore all activities are aimed at realizing the following ambitions:
Zero emission
No traffic jams and other bottlenecks
No accidents
The automotive industry faces many challenges in terms of sustainable objectives and green mobility. A key driver behind sustainability is the growing societal demand for climate neutral solutions, as driven by the European Commission and the Paris Agreement.
Worldwide, over 1.3 million people die in traffic accidents every year. Among young people, traffic accidents is the number one cause of death. In addition, congestion, especially in the urbanized area, causes great social costs. Digitization and automation of the mobility system and vehicles can make major contributions to reducing these societal challenges.
New, natural, lighter materials, as well as, more intensive use of existing materials (such as high-grade steel and aluminum) - and their smart processing - are the key ingredients to achieve the desired CO2 reduction.
