Belgian Prime Minister Jan Jambon opens world's largest calibration lab in Wommelgem

Antwerp (Wommelgem), 7 June 2024 - Trescal, market leader in calibration techniques, is celebrating its 50th Benelux anniversary this year. This anniversary marks half a century of unparalleled expertise in calibrating measuring instruments for various sectors, including aerospace, defence, automotive, pharmaceutical, food, ICT and energy. Today, Prime Minister Jan Jambon and General manager Mark Beerts inaugurate the brand new calibration lab.

Calibration is essential for the accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments and control techniques in the entire manufacturing industry.In this, Trescal plays a key role in ensuring quality and safety in many technical and scientific applications. During his speech, Jan Jambon emphasised the prominent role of Trescal as a crucial partner for our manufacturing industry and the role, which Trescal plays as a hidden player, ensuring the safety and comfort of all our citizens. The Prime Minister was impressed by the various applications of calibration in our daily lives.

General Manager of Trescal Mark Beerts looks ahead and wants to continue innovating with Trescal as a growth company.
