Nord France Invest has invited RAI Automotive Industry NL to take part in the Battery Tech Expo France 2026, taking place in the heart of France’s Electric Valley. This major industry event will bring together over 1.000 professionals from across the battery value chain – covering testing, materials, design, assembly, thermal management, safety, recycling, and next-generation battery technologies.
The exhibition features leading industry speakers, researchers, and investors sharing the latest developments in battery innovation and production. It offers a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities within the fast-growing European battery ecosystem.
This invitation builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2022 between RAI Automotive Industry NL, Nord France Invest, ARIA Hauts-de-France, the Automotive Campus, and the Transalley Technology Park in Valenciennes. The agreement formalized a partnership between the Dutch and Northern French mobility ecosystems to strengthen cooperation in innovation, talent exchange, and industrial development.
These two regions complement each other perfectly:
- Hauts-de-France combines strong industrial expertise, is home to seven major car manufacturers (including Renault, Stellantis, and Toyota) and multiple upcoming gigafactories for large-scale battery production.
- The Netherlands, driven by innovation, hosts the Automotive Campus in Helmond – a thriving ecosystem where startups, research institutes, and companies collaborate on smart and green mobility solutions.
The Battery Tech Expo France 2026 marks an important step in advancing Dutch-French cooperation on battery technology and offers an excellent opportunity for Dutch companies to expand their network and visibility in the European mobility sector.
