Stakeholder Day on Chemical Substances 2026

Save the Date – Stakeholder Day on Chemical Substances, Environment and Health 2026

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management is pleased to invite you to the third Stakeholder Day on Chemical Substances, Environment and Health, taking place on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 09:30 to 16:00 at Leeuwenbergh in Utrecht.

The Stakeholder Day is organised within the framework of the Impuls Programme on Chemical Substances, in collaboration with the Industry and Residents Action Agenda. Together, we will reflect on the (interim) results of the programme and discuss the next steps towards a healthy and clean living environment.

The Impuls Programme on Chemical Substances (2023–2026) aims to prevent and reduce environmental pollution caused by chemical substances. Its priorities focus on:

  1. Improving insight and public awareness
  2. Accelerating and strengthening the policy on emissions of substances of very high concern (ZZS)
  3. Enhancing the safety of substances at the early stage
  4. Understanding the cumulative effects of substances in the living environment

During this Stakeholder Day, plenary sessions and interactive workshops will provide a platform to share results, experiences, insights and dilemmas. In close cooperation with the Industry and Residents Action Agenda, we aim to foster constructive dialogue, exchange, and collaboration among all stakeholders.

Mark Monday, March 2, 2026, in your calendar!
